Research
The research programme aims to understand the mechanisms through which alterations in vascular cell function contribute to vascular disease and transplant rejection. The programme focuses on the role of death receptors, and in particular the inflammatory mediator tumour necrosis factor (TNF), in renal and cardiovascular disease, and how the two distinct receptors for TNF are independently regulated and mediate different cellular responses.
