The HTS is a detachable unit that allows 96 and 384 well plates to be loaded onto any advanced BD Biosciences analyser, (Fortessas or CantoII). In ‘Normal’ mode, the machine will typically take 44 minutes to run a plate; under ‘High Throughput’ mode, this is reduced to 15 minutes. In each mode the unit uses separator bubbles of air to keep each well/sample from carrying over.

	Remember to attach the halfsize droplet containment sleeve and to check the fluidics attachments for leaks prior to use			The HTS button on the side of the machine turns of the peristaltic pump that normally removes the remainder of the previous sample
